AudioVector accessibility
AudioVector is a visual instrument for exploring and shaping sound. Its controls include options to make text easier to read, separate controls from the moving trace, and keep important actions visible.

Make the controls easier to see
On iPhone and iPad, open AudioVector’s Settings and expand Accessibility. You can choose a stronger control background, enable Higher contrast, turn on Larger text, add Selection symbols, and keep presentation controls visible. AudioVector also responds to the system’s larger text sizes, Increase Contrast, Reduce Transparency, and Differentiate Without Color settings.
On Mac, expand Accessibility in the controls panel. You can choose the control background, enable Higher contrast, select Standard, Large, or Extra Large control text, and keep presentation controls visible.
Both versions use a dark interface. The trace and canvas colors remain adjustable, so their brightness depends on your chosen settings.
VoiceOver and Voice Control
Controls include accessible names and values, and presentation controls stay visible when VoiceOver is active. Complete use of every common task with VoiceOver or Voice Control has not yet been verified. Some workflows may still need improvements.
The moving trace does not currently have a detailed nonvisual description.
Motion and the live trace
Some interface effects respond to Reduce Motion. The main visualizer remains animated while drawing live sound. Use Freeze or Pause, as appropriate for the selected audio source, to stop its movement.
Full Reduced Motion support has not yet been verified. The visualizer can produce fast-moving, bright, or flashing patterns depending on the audio and visual settings.
Current limitations
Layouts at the largest text sizes have not yet been fully verified across supported devices. Higher-contrast options are available, but a complete contrast assessment has not yet been completed.
AudioVector does not currently provide captions or narrated audio descriptions of its visual output. The visual trace is not a substitute for captions.
These notes describe the available accommodations and known limitations. They are not a claim that every workflow is fully accessible. Available controls may vary with your app version and device.
